GoEverywhereTogether is a small business run by Todd and Hannah. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use our website, travel maps and Touch-to-Travel pins, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We don't sell your personal information.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your email address, username (which becomes your board's web address) and password. We store passwords only in scrambled (hashed) form, so we can't see them.
- Optional sign-up questions: where you're from, your age range, how you heard about us, and whether you'd like our tips emails. You can skip these.
- Your travel content: the countries and states you mark, trips (places, dates, descriptions), photos and videos, music, captions, backgrounds, and the people you invite to your board.
- Orders: your name, shipping and billing address, phone number, email and what you bought. If you send an order as a gift, we also keep the recipient email you give us and any gift message.
- Messages: anything you send us by email.
Information collected automatically
- Pin activity: each Touch-to-Travel pin's code, what it's set to open, and a count of how many times it's been tapped.
- Technical details: your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit, recorded in our server logs and by the analytics tools described below.
Payment details
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number goes straight to Stripe and never touches our servers. We keep only what Stripe gives back to identify the payment, such as the card brand and last four digits, so we can show you which card a membership uses.
2. How we use it
- To run your account, your Adventure Board, your maps and your pins.
- To take payment for, make, ship and support your orders and your Globetrotter Club membership.
- To send emails you need: order and shipping updates, membership receipts and reminders, password resets, board invites and gift notices.
- To send a few getting-started tips if you said yes. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link.
- To answer your questions and fix problems.
- To keep the site safe (for example, limiting repeated sign-in attempts) and to understand which pages and products are useful so we can improve them.
3. What other people can see
Your Adventure Board is meant to be shared. Your board page, world map and any trip that isn't marked private can be seen by anyone who has the link or taps one of your pins, and may show up in search engines. Private trips are only visible to you and the members of your board.
You choose what each pin opens. Anyone who taps the pin sees that page. You can change or reset a pin at any time.
People you invite to your board can see the board's content, and depending on their role may add to it.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with companies that help us run the site, and only what they need:
| Service | What it does for us |
|---|---|
| Stripe | Processes card payments and membership renewals. |
| Brevo | Sends our emails (orders, memberships, password resets, tips). |
| Google Analytics | Measures visits and purchases so we know what's working. |
| Meta (Facebook) Pixel | Measures visits and purchases from our Facebook and Instagram ads, and helps show our ads to people who may like them. |
| Our web host | Stores the website, your account and your uploads. |
| Shipping carriers | Deliver your order (they receive your name and shipping address). |
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or to stop fraud. If the business were ever sold, your information would move with it and this policy would still apply. We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
5. Cookies and analytics
- Needed cookies: keep you signed in, protect forms from forgery, and remember your cart. The site doesn't work properly without them.
- Analytics and ad measurement: Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel set their own cookies to count visits and purchases.
- Small preferences: your browser may store things like whether you minimized a site banner.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use a content blocker, install Google's opt-out add-on, or change your Meta ad preferences. Blocking the needed cookies will stop sign-in and checkout from working.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account and content until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. Order records are kept as long as we need them for taxes, accounting and warranty or refund questions. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security.
7. Your choices and rights
- See and change: you can edit your account, board, trips, photos and pins from your account at any time.
- Delete: you can delete trips, photos and songs yourself. To delete your whole account, email us from the address on the account and we'll do it.
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any tips email. We'll still send emails about your orders and membership.
- A copy of your information: email us and we'll send you what we hold.
Depending on where you live (for example California, the UK or the EU), you may have extra rights, such as asking what we hold about you, having it corrected or deleted, or objecting to how we use it. Email us to use any of these rights; we won't treat you differently for asking. If you're in the UK or EU you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Children
Our site is for adults and families managed by an adult. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
9. Security
The site uses HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and payments are handled by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you don't use anywhere else, and tell us right away if you notice anything wrong with your account.
10. Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and for important changes we'll let account holders know by email or on the site.
Questions or requests: [email protected]. You can also see our Terms of Service and Contact page.
